So, a lot happening here at Malt Soda. We started book publishing that will consist of anything interesting. You will see everything from music, travel, and food related books. They will be available in both physical and downloadable formats. As we are a punk rawk record label; we are taking submissions for "punk" related material for future releases. Fang has been kicked of the show this Friday night in Oakland at The Metro with headliners The Subhumans. Apparently; the band "Conquest For Death" would not allow Fang to share the same stage with them or the other bands. I wounder why? Punk rock! (May 20, 2013).

Malt Soda welcomes Sorry State to the label. Their new CD called "No Hard Feelings" is being pressed right now and will hit the streets for sale by May 2013. Band bio;
SORRY STATE was conceived when four friends each coming from highly regarded Los Angeles area bands came together sharing a common attitude, a stock load of untapped material and a shared vision of having a good time while making hard, aggressive, old school punk.
SORRY STATE has been hitting it hard since coming together in 2008. Playing an average of 96-114 shows a year to a steadily and rapid...ly increasing following. SORRY STATE has been a featured act on numerous high profile shows, with numerous high profile bands both in the States as well as abroad.
In 2011 SORRY STATE released their first EP “Hook Hands”. SORRY STATE recorded seperate material and was included on three separate compilations. In 2012, SORRY STATE finished work on their second EP entitled “Last Ride” and have plans on returning to the studio in early 2013 to record their first full length titled “No Hard Feelings”.
SORRY STATE consistently brings a high energy, in your face style, which has been compared to sounding as heavy as a dump truck falling from
the Empire State Building, while still keeping a good natured and fun atmosphere approach to every show. This combination has been received very well and has helped SORRY STATE in gaining a respectable following throughout California and beyond
